Gite Peyret is a charming fully equipped holiday apartment with large private terrace surrounded by stunning countryside situated in Labassere Debat in the Hautes-Pyrenees( just 10 minutes from the spa town of Bagneres de Bigorre) This Region has so much to offer all year round. If you want to relax in the sunshine, cycle the famous Col's of the Tour de France, walk in the stunning mountains, ski, be pampered in the local spa's and enjoy great food and wine, this is the place for you! The space Gite Peyret is in a beautiful location, the scenery is breathtaking. This characterful apartment forms part of the ground floor of an 18th century farmhouse and still has many of it's original features. Gite Peyret is on one level with its own private entrance and car parking space. The apartment has an open plan living and kitchen area with an original fireplace housing a wood burning stove which serves the central heating ( radiators), great for those winter evenings after a day in the mountains. All wood is provided free. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher, oven and gas hob, microwave, coffee machine, fridge freezer and all that you need to make your stay very comfortable.There is also a utility room with extra work space and washing machine. There are 2 bedrooms. The cosy double bedroom has plenty of storage for a family. There is also a cabin bunk room suitable for 2 children. The entrance doors open onto a private terrace with views across the valley, with plenty of outside seating. There is free WI FI and all bedding and towels, are provided. There is also tea, coffee, sugar, and milk. You can help yourself to herbs that are growing in containers on the terrace in summer. A travel cot and highchair are avalible on request. I have lockable storage for bikes and skis on request. Guest access I sometimes stay in the property above so I am happy to offer help and advice if you need it but I certanly will not be in your space. Your parking space is right outside your entrance gate, so very easy to unload your luggage, shoppping, bikes and skis. Please park near your gate and to the left, the rest of the area is a communial turning space for the post ect because the gite is situated at a dead end. Other things to note The apartment parking space is sutable for a car/people carrier. I cannot accomodate large commercial vehicles/camping cars.The gite is at the end of a single track chemin/tarmaced road with passing places, please drive slowly. If you are coming in winter you will need to bring snow chains or have snow tyres. I don't have a power point to charge electric cars but there are charging points in Bagneres. Myself and others live above the Gite so you will hear us, our footsteps ect and see us and others around, but we certainly will not be in your space. There are 3 cats who you will see around and they may visit so be sure not to lock them in when you go out. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding any of this.
