Chalet Calmis - amazing view of the Matterhorn

Our Chalet Calmis was built in 2014. It’s a modern wooden Chalet and it is located in one of the most beautiful areas of the village Zermatt. It’s a 7-minute walk from the train station. The apartment is our vacation home which we furnished and decorated with a lot of love and attention to detail. The apartment has an open design and therefore provides a lot of space. We ourselves live in Zurich. Calmis is our second home and we are very much looking forward to welcome you very soon. The space The Chalet provides a modern Chalet feeling and a lot of comfort. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The spacious living room as well as the the open kitchen area, the high ceiling and the many sitting areas are ideal for social gatherings with family and friends in a cosy atmosphere. If you are in need for some privacy you can find it at the dining table, in front of the chimney ( not in use) or in the TV area. From the living room you can also admire a spectacular view on the Matterhorn and the centre of the town. For some fun times there is also a special game table where things can be left laying around for later continuation while eating at the dining table. Please note that the given rate is for 2 double rooms and for 2-4 persons. If you would like to have 3 double rooms or if you are 5-6 persons it will cost CHF 100 more. The rooms not used will be closed. Guest access You find the supermarket (Migros) in about 450m (5min walk), the bus station "Brücke zum Steg" in about 200m (3 min. walk) and the railway station in about 700m (8 min walk). All the valley stations for skiing and hiking are reachalbe in 7-10 minutes. Thanks to the elevated position the chalet is very quiet and sunny and the view to the mountains including the Matterhorn is spectacular. There is a small appartment in the basement where a couple lives throughout the year as well as a skiroom with a boot heater. There is a very easy access from the street through a tunnel and then going up you take the elevator. Other things to note The daily rate is for 1-4 persons for 1-2 rooms. If 4 guests would like to have all three rooms we charge another CHF 100 per night. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. If you book 5 or 6 persons the system automatically shows you the correct price. The rooms which you do not need will be closed.
