The Main Farmhouse at Gray Rock Farm

Located on a closed gravel road, Gray Rock Farm has been in the family since 1949 and the farm is still home to a small flock of sheep and chickens. Guests in the main house have full access to the stone patio in front and the small deck in back. Guests can have fresh eggs daily if so desired. There is a level 2 EV charger outside the garage that can be accessed. Users of the charger will be assessed an additional $.30 / kWh. Please inquire before booking. The space The old part of the house was built around 1800 and retains the central fireplace, chestnut beams and floors, and original architectural details. In keeping with traditional design, we have upgraded the house to incorporate the Big House, Little House, Back House, Barn concept, typical of older New England farms. The four-season sunroom connecting the old to the new has become the focal point of the house. By joining the kitchen table and the sunroom table, the space can accommodate a sit-down dinner for 16 in one room. While there is no TV for general viewing, we do have a 32" HDTV for video games. Bring your own console. While guests in the Main House have their own private entrance, there might be separate guests in the apartment above the garage, and there might be one or two cars in the driveway. Guest access The spacious back yard is perfect for outdoor games or just relaxing under the massive nut trees. There is an old outdoor fireplace that can be used for roasting marshmallows or hot dogs or just sitting around on a cool summer evening. If there are guests in the guest suite over the garage, you might have to share some of the driveway and the outdoors. Other things to note If your group is four or less, you might also consider just booking the guest suite. There is a level 2 EV charger outside the garage that can be accessed.
