Capel Cottage is a charming, lovingly renovated beach house in a tranquil street, a pleasant walk to the famous beach boxes, turquoise waters and white sandy beaches, for which the Mornington Peninsula are renowned. Strolling distance to great cafes, Rosebud shops and parks, whilst a quick trip in the car and you're spoilt for choice - Peninsula Hot Springs, wineries, golf courses and kids activities abound. An ideal location for your next getaway with family, friends or loved ones! The space Capel Cottage features beautiful vaulted ceilings, wall-to-wall windows throughout the living areas, providing abundant natural light, overlooking a tranquil garden. A generous open plan living/dining space, second separate living zone and breakfast bar off the central kitchen plus an 8-seater Outdoor dining setting, have all your entertaining needs covered, whether it be drinks and nibbles before dinner out or a sumptuous home-cooked meal in. The house sleeps 8 guests comfortably, across 3 bedrooms, suiting 1-2 couples or 2 families perfectly or alternatively, some quality time away with your besties. Bedroom 1 is equipped with a sizeable walk-in robe and en-suite bathroom with a shower big enough to share! The main bathroom has both a shower and bath, perfect for little ones or a well-earned relax soak in the tub. A full kitchen includes oven, microwave, dishwasher, gas cooktop, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, pots, pans, steamer, jaffle maker, blender, rice cooker, baking tins, crockery, cutlery, knives, chopping boards, serving platters, tea, organic coffee, wine glasses, champagne flutes and the all important ice bucket to keep your bottle of bubbles perfectly chilled. The laundry has a full-sized washer/dryer, great for wet bathers and towels after your day chilling out at the beach or hot springs. Whilst an iron and ironing board ensures you're ready to sample the fare at some of the Peninsula's hatted restaurants and wineries. Whether an aussie BBQ and backyard cricket is your thing, breathing in some clean sea air or just snuggling up with a good book on the comfy outdoor lounge, the external spaces have it all. Both front and back gardens are secure and fully enclosed, so you can relax and simply enjoy your surroundings. There's plenty of off-street parking, with space for 3 cars in the driveway. Cozy ducted heating throughout will keep you toasty on a cold night, whilst split system A/C units plus additional fans will help you keep your cool during the beautiful Victorian summers. Netflix and wi-fi internet are available for those not wanting to fully switch off from the world, whilst music lovers are spoilt for choice. Should you have any littlies in tow, their needs are catered for too. Board games, totem tennis, cricket set, toys and books should keep them entertained for a few hours, allowing you to relax and put your feet up! A high chair and cot are also available, just let us know upon booking and we can have them set up all ready for your arrival.
