Huge old pine trees and mowed fields create space and privacy between the two. With this rental comes the use of 4 kayaks, a grill, walking poles, and a huge porch excellent for watching for bear or moose! Big windows throughout the house let in lots light. New mattresses assure your restful sleep. The space The house, which is my primary VT home (hence the hominess) sits on 42 acres. There are hiking trails on the property although until late Fall heavily trafficked by animals! There are 6.5 acres of field. The house sits 1.2 miles from the entrance to Pico, is close to ponds, lakes and breweries as well as Killington Mnt. The has a one car garage leading to an attached mud room. this is available to guests. There is a garage door opener as well. Guest access Long Trail Brewery Hop N'Moose Brewery Lakes and ponds abound (If you have a vehicle to carry kayaks, we have them), Snowshoes for the winter Close to Woodstock, Quechee and so much more... Other things to note Please know I have what I cam "the Big House" on the property which is s an air bnb. You can see each other from either house. One of the benefits of 42 acres. This house was build by me and is "mine", meaning when you are not here, I may be, especially in the late spring and summer. So, please make yourself at home and remember it is mine.
