The holiday cottage is a former croft house set amid working croft land with outstanding sea views across the Minch (sea) to the Isle of Skye and the Outer Isles. Located 8 miles north of Gairloch on the road to Melvaig and the Rua Reidh Lighthouse. The cottage is at the end of a short, steep, private drive, in an elevated position, which gives a spectacular uninterrupted panoramic sea view across the Minch to Skye and the western Isles. The cottage is set in a private garden. Our housekeeper is on hand for any assistance you may require during your stay. Set within a crofting village surrounded by working crofts. Beautiful sandy beaches are close by on the Melvaig & Aultgrishan coastline. The area is excellent for coastal and hill walking and is renowned for it’s rugged mountain landscapes and wildlife. Car essential as public transport is limited. Car hire is available in Inverness and at Inverness Airport PLEASE NOTE THAT BOOKINGS ARE SATURDAY TO SATURDAY ONLY. YOU CAN ONLY ARRIVE AND CHECK OUT ON SATURDAYS. Guest access Guests have full use of the cottage and garden grounds. Cottage is a rural crofting community. Other things to note Linen, Electricity and Cleaning cost is included.
