The blackberry house

The house is located at the mouth of the small river that gives its name to the historic port of Rinlo. A quiet place protected from the north wind just one hour walking from the Cathedral's beach. The house, rebuilt in 1860, has been completely renovated taking special care to maintain the character of the building. The small garden reconditioned to relax outdoors and enjoy the view of the sea and the bucolic landscape that surrounds the house. The space Huge stone walls lined by chestnut wood. The house has an atemporal, warm and suggestive atmosphere, furnished with old pieces and built-in furniture. Since 2007 We are personally involved in a process of architectural recovery of the site with very little support from the local authorities. The public realm and the state of the river it is not what we would like to be, but we maintain the alley and the Arenal clean from plastic, making a traditional green environment as it was in the old days.
