We are a local family living in Sorake village, Nias, Indonesia. We live in a simple house, 50m from the beach. We have a guest house upstairs consist of 3 rooms. Our place is 200m away from famous surfing spot, "the point". It is a short drive to other surf spots. Breakfast is included. Local meal can be provided for a small price. We can arrange transportation from the airport. We provide surfing lessons for all levels and surf trips around the island. Rental motorbike is available. The space You will have a private room with fan and you will have your own private bathroom (Indonesian Mandi). No hot water, but who needs it with daily temperature of 30 degree Celsius:-). Breakfast is included. Please note that NO breakfast for monthly stay. Local meal can be provided for a small fee. We can provide rental boards or if you need to buy one. Our place is 100 m away from ding repair shop. You can also rent boards at Around Sorake and Lagundri beach 5 minutes drive (2 km). Our place and facilities are simple, local standard, but we hope you find that life integrated into the local Nias way of life to be beautiful and rewarding. Guest access Houses in Sorake does not have number. Our guesthouse is at the end of Sorake street. During your stay Our family will make sure that you feel at home in our house. Just ask anything you need and we try our best to fulfill your wish. Other things to note You will get a taste now the local lives. Also you will have the opportunity to learn about in Indonesian and Nias language and culture. There are opportunities for excursions to traditional villages and lesser known places like waterfalls, secret surf spot and amazing beaches.
