Secluded forest retreat – simple but comfortable

Stay close to nature in this peaceful forest cabin, surrounded by greenery and birdsong. Tucked away next to our woodland, with a small brook nearby and a quiet forest lake within reach, this is a place to slow down and enjoy simple living. The cabin is small and simple, yet comfortable – with everything you need to cook, relax and sleep well. The space Very cozy mini-cabin, with outdoor kitchen, dry toilet and outdoor shower. Recommended for two adults, with beds in the loft (sheets and towels included). The sofa on the first floor is also a bed if you want an alternative sleeping place, or maybe bring a child (but please note the steep stairs) The cabin has electricity, heating and WiFi, and comfortable beds for a good night’s sleep. Cooking is done in the outdoor kitchen under roof, fully equipped with a stove, kitchenware and a small fridge. Running cold water is available, and water for dishes and shower is heated on the stove – part of the simple, nature-based experience. There is a traditional outdoor toilet (dry toilet) and an outdoor shower (shampoo and soap included). You are also welcome to use the shower in our house if preferred. The cabin is located in a quiet rural setting next to our forest. While it feels peaceful and secluded, there are a few nearby houses and occasional everyday sounds. Fire place for BBQ with all equipments that you need. Firewood and charcoal are can be purchased from us, but the local supermarket also has charcoal. Washing machine is available for 5 EUR per wash. NOTE: No animals are allowed. No smoking. Guest access Free parking. There is a bus stop within 1 km, with a few departures per day - but not Saturday/Sunday. When we have the opportunity, we can offer pick-up/drop-off within the municipality for a fee. Other things to note Breakfast must be booked the day before, and costs 130-150 SEK per person per day depending on what you choose. If you are a hiker on the pilgrim route, we can arrange a fortified breakfast where you can make a simple lunch to take with you on the continued hike, for a cost of 70 SEK.
