Located in South Kolkata,its a 3 storied 70 year old house. The Private room in the home stay on the Ground Floor covers 1300 sft has a front garden and is well furnished. Ideal for singles, couples, expatriates, authors, business travellers and those convalescing. The usp is the prime location and the ambience. It is a slice of the past tucked away between the busy Lake Mall on one side and the serene Rabindra Sarobar lakes on the other,ideal for joggers and morning walkers. The space Our home will be your home soon albeit for a while. It is well ventilated, sun kissed apartment with plenty of greenery all around. Apart from the bedroom, guests can access the living and dining area as well as the drawing room where the Television is kept. We have tried to retain the old world charm as far as possible... while providing for every comfort. Our home provides the guest with complete privacy and positive vibes. The only sound you will hear in the morning is of birds chirping and the occasional Buddhist chant of Nam Myoho Renge Kyo as I am a practitioner and live above, on the first floor. There are over 20 restaurants within 1 km apart from the Food Court in the Mall apart from a Cafe just opposite our home and a Beauty Salon right next door. The Greek Orthodox Church and the famous Kali Temple is within walking distance. Our home is peaceful, ideal for resting after a hectic day... a good place to unwind. You can also shop or go for leisurely walks or both. Guest access Apart from the booked bedroom, guests have access to the living & dining area, kitchen as well as the drawing room with Television and cable TV. However,guests are required to keep all their belongings in their booked room and not strewn all over the apartment in consideration of guests in the other Private bedroom. I stay on the first floor. During your stay My brother and myself are available every morning and thereafter we are only a buzz away since we live in the same building. We take care of the guests personally. Offer suggestions with the itinerary, car rentals, etc. We suggest you collect a map of Kolkata from the tourist kiosk. Other things to note The bathroom is private but not attached. It is just 2steps away.
