Casa Massimo is 3 minutes walk from the centre of the medieval walled village, Castiglione. There is a view of the ancient Castello from the edge of the beautiful garden. The property is the ground floor of a large house. There are 2 large bedrooms, one of which sleeps 3, and a large living room off the hall. There is a new bathroom and kitchen. The space The garden has mature plants and is shaded in places by fine trees. There is a 9 m private swimming pool with a depth of 1.4 m with graduated steps. There is a lovely rose covered pergola in the extended garden which Massimo invites his guests to use. Sometimes Massimo uses this space for BBQs for his guests and friends which is always a special experience. The owner, Massimo and his elderly mother, live discreetly in the apartment upstairs. His hospitality is excellent. He makes his own wine and fine preserves, oil and cheeses as well as having his chickens and an impressive vegetable garden. He is very generous with his guests, giving produce from his land. There is a restaurant and bar within a minutes walk from the villa. An excellent shop/bar, where you can buy decent wine on draft and excellent local produce, is 5 minutes walk We can help arrange mountain biking, hill walking, horse riding, gorge walking and cooking classes which are all available locally.
