2 DOUBLE AND FAMILY ROOM ALSO AVAILABLE ON SEPERATE LISTING This Hotel is a luxury farmhouse sitting in 200 acres of Worcestershire countryside on family working farm. Situated in the Vale of Evesham famous for its fruit and vegetables and at the edge of Cotswolds with quick access to the north (M6) south (M5) east (M40/M4) and west (M50) The space The farmhouse is of Tudor style built in 1987. This twin en suite bedroom overlooks the front garden and is flushed with the morning sunshine. Little luxuries, fridge with ice, water and fresh milk, sheepskin rugs, comfy chairs and quirky wall hangings will add to your comfort! The village has a very good shop/PO, pub, beauticians and a lovely church. An 18 + 9 hole golf club wth fisihing is 1ml. Close to Pershore and Evesham 5mls Larger towns (with racecourses) historical connectiions and abundant shopping nearby are Worcester 10mls. Stratford upon Avon 16 mls and Cheltenham 18mls. Guest access There is a large guest lounge with a log burner, intersting reading material and board games etc. The breakfast room overlooks the farm and garden and breakfast can be taken outside in summer. All the garden is accessable and there are many public footpaths through the farm and around the village with a community owned wood half mile away. A supervised visit to the shed when cattle are house in winter is no problem or to feed the chickens and ducks. Other things to note Nightingale Hotel is situated in a small rural village between Pershore - with its well known Abbey and annual Plum Festival - and Evesham with an Almonry Museum Worcester is home of Edward Elgar and the Cathedral is a must for those interested in architecture. Cricket, Rugby and NH racing take place in Worcester several times during the year, as do music festivals at Malvern which is a Spa town. One can walk the Malvern hills with Hereford and Wales on the other side of the hills. Cheltenham has a reputation as a shopping centre but do not forget it is a beautiful Spa town and also hosts the world famous National Hunt festival and Gold cup. Stratford-on-Avon does not need publicity as the Shakespeare Theatre speaks for itself but is also one of the most pleasant towns in Britain to walk around with plenty for everyone to find interesting. You can even take a rowing boat up the Avon right past the theatre. The Cotswolds’ starting at Broadway, which is 11 miles from the hotel, which will need time to explore as there are so many beautiful villages tucked away down winding roads. With several stately homes alongside places of interest, both historically and geographically to visit. The gardens will not disappoint as Hidcote Gardens are only twenty miles from here.
