Description

The Cwtch is an annexe adjoining our self build stone bungalow that is surrounded by beautiful countryside, that is within easy access to The Brecon Beacons and World Heritage site Blaenavon etc. The property is well equipped, the property is accessed through the light and airy conservatory adjoining the kitchen. Your personal space will include conservatory, kitchen, lounge, bedroom and en-suite. Please to aware that there is a shared space where the laundry area is located. The space The Cwtch at Golwg y Mynydd situated on the Coety Mountain is a cozy annexe adjoining our self built home. The Cwtch is surrounded by beautiful walks at the nearby Cwmtillery Lakes and Cwmtillery reservoir. You are 3 minutes from Abertillery by car with all the usual facilities and only 10-15 minutes by car to the train station at Llanhilleth that will take you to the capital of Wales "Cardiff". The World Heritage Site of Blaenavon and “The Big Pit " and the cottages that were featured on the BBC program "The Coal House" can be accessed via a long walk over the Coety Mountain (see images) or by car. You are within easy reach of the Brecon Beacons and and the market town of Abergavenny. The Cwtch boasts a double bedroom with en- suite, a lounge with dining table, a fully fitted kitchen, and conservatory. There is a sofa stool that will sleep 1 adult in the lounge. Single airbeds and camp bed is available on request. There is a private patio complete with seating which is perfect for watching the sun set below Mynydd James is the ideal way to finish your day. Please be aware that you have use of the washer and dryer but this area is a shared space with myself, therefore you may hear some activity in this area during your stay. Guest access There are wide steps to the entrance of the property that leads into the conservatory. There is then a step into the kitchen. The rest of the property is on one level. There is a private patio complete with seating which is perfect for watching the sun set below Mynydd James is the ideal way to finish your day. The Cwtch can be accessed through the conservatory. Parking is directly outside the property on the quiet lane that leads to a cul de sac (no through traffic). Other things to note There will be complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, milk. The laundry area is a shared space so you may hear some activity from time to time, however I endeavour to limit my use during your stay. You are welcome to use the laundry equipment. There is a table and bureau ideal for using a laptop. A very friendly dog called Blake stays with us some days.
