The Black Shack @ Bancran School

The Black Shack is a luxurious, detail-led Tiny House retreat, with a relaxed open plan living space that features soft leather sofas and a wood-burning stove... a genuine treat after a long day exploring the local area (when you're not unwinding in the private hot tub, that is!) The Black Shack is at the rear of Bancran School our family home and in a quiet area. This listing is for two guests however families with kids can contact us. The space The Black Shack is fully equipped for an enjoyable stay. Inside this tiny house there is an open plan kitchen living space, two superbly finished double bedrooms (one upstairs) and bathroom with shower and luxuries required. The kitchen comes with a full gas hob, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, cooking equipment and utensils. A breakfast pack will await you with local pancakes, crisps, tea, coffee, cereal and milk. The living area has a comfy leather sofa and other seating, dinning table and box window seating. The black shack has a wood burning fire and fire wood is provided. There are two double bedrooms, one on the ground floor and one up the customised staircase. The bathroom has an old reclaimed Belfast sink, corrugated tin electric shower and everything you'll need for your break. Right outside guests can enjoy the luxury of having their own personal spa hot tub with waterfall feature. You will also have private parking, access to the communal Gin Tin which houses the huge Weber BBQ, pizza oven and sports tv. Inside the Gin Tin there are also dinning facilities. The gym area located inside the garage is also available for guests to use during your stay. Guest access Bancran School is located 3 miles outside Draperstown which is a small town with shops for groceries. Inside the town there are a number of bars and cafes which we are happy to give recommendations for. To maintain everyones comfort and enjoyment there is a strict quiet time in place after 10pm, all communal spaces are closed up and external lights out at this point. We would ask guests to enjoy time in their own space after lights out.
