Quiet 2 BR apartment near the lake Bled with large garden, great vistas and ample space to enjoy your visit away from crowds. A renovated, spacious, two bedroom apartment with a large private garden and unobstructed views on the quiet side of lake Bled. The space Our apartment is located on the western part of lake Bled across from the town center. This is the area where building has been restricted for decades which gives the surroundings a feel of authentic natural beauty. A short 5 minute walk down the road brings you to the only natural pebble beach on the lake and a well stocked grocery store and recreation area. Right behind the house there is a well marked trail up the hill through a dense forest leading to several points with breathtaking vistas. The house has been in the family from its construction in 1907 and has seen several reconstructions. The apartment, which has been recently renovated, occupies the entire ground floor of an old house with private garden facing the lake, the castle and the mountains. It has two bedrooms, one with two single beds and the other, larger one with double bed and a living area with TV. There is a comfortable new bathroom and fully equipped kitchen with a large kitchen table. You will however prefer to sit in the garden, which has a table and chairs for enjoying meals or drinks in the morning sun or afternoon shade and cool breeze. There is one parking space reserved for the guests. There is also high speed internet and cable TV. The location away from the nightlife of Bled center is ideal for quiet evenings. However, the center is easily reached on foot. In fact, walking or running around the lake is a must. It takes 25 minutes to reach the center in a leisurely stroll and one hour to walk around the lake. The apartment is a prime starting point for active holidays. Activities such as tennis, golf, biking, hiking, mountaineering, kayaking, SUPing and swimming are all within easy reach. Guest access The apartment is accessible by car or by train. Train stop Bled-Jezero is within a short walking distance. There is one parking space for the guests. You will be greeted by your host Hajdeja or some other member of the family.
