Mount Cole Cottages - Original Cottage

Rustic timber cottage situated on our 13 acres bush property. at the foot of Mount Cole. Relax on the property or use it as a base for bush walking in the nearby Mount Cole State forest or visiting Pyrenees wineries. Abundant wildlife including wallabies, echidnas and a wide assortment of birdlife. The property sustained extensive damage in the February 2024 bushfire. Original Cottage is fine, though we lost the much loved mudbrick meditation temple and a several other important buildings. The space Rustic cottage built from local hardwood timber planks. Lovely baltic pine interiors and the very popular open fire place in the cooler months. Self cater kitchen including gas stove, dishwasher and microwave. Both upstairs and downstairs have reverse cycle air conditioners (heating & cooling). All linen supplied. Outdoor deck area with stainless steel (wood burning) bbq and separate gas bbq. Minimum two night stay. Other things to note Second bedroom is quite small and is connected to main bedroom by curtained doorway. Fine for young children. Less private for adults.
