Sunny double room, Wifi, good access to London

Our spacious East-facing double room in our home is ready to welcome guests arriving in London. In the room there is a double bed with bedside table, spacious wardrobe, double chest of drawers, 2 armchairs and 40" TV. The house is a short walk from Northwick Park Station (metropolitan line) and Kenton station (bakerloo line and overground). It's also a 15min walk to Northwick Park Hospital and into Harrow town centre with lots of shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants and a cinema nearby. The space Guests are welcome to use the kitchen to prepare food, use the fridge and hob&oven, there are also tea and coffee making facilities. The living room is also open to guests (subject to availability) to feel free and explore our travel book library as well as chill on the sofa. We have a lovely garden with a patio, hammock and a seating area for those sunny days and warmer evenings. Certain rooms in our house have a TV with a media streamer, that gives our guests something to do and entertainment after they've spent a long day touristing around London. In the kitchen we have a smart speaker. This means that at any time guests are able to ask Alexa for nearby restaurants or coffee shops, the weather and other things, just like if they were home. We're currently working on creating an Alexa skill that gives our guests all sorts of information, like the Wi-Fi password and other things they may need to know about the home. In order to make our international guests feel welcome, we have included a universal charger in the kitchen which contains a multi-port USB charger enabling to charge almost any devices our guests might bring with them. During your stay Due to the Covid-19 pandemic our interaction with guests is minimised. We are implementing self check-in and encouraging social distancing,especially when indoors. Generally italways depends on our weekly workload and whereabouts! Whenever we're around we're happy to help out with advice on what to see, where to eat in Harrow and the wider London area. We are available around the clock on mobile (text/call/whatsapp) but work long hours during the week so rarely around in person. However our 3 friendly cats who live next door are always out and about willing to keep guests company. They are not allowed into guest rooms unless specifically invited, so we suggest to keep the doors closed! Additionally, recently we've installed a video doorbell outside the entrance door. It helps us monitor who is coming and going, as well as being able to assist in self check-ins and receiving deliveries. Its also a nice fail-safe, in case the guest loses or forgets their key or their phone is dead and they can't get into the house. Guests can simply press the doorbell, which will give a two-way audio (and one-way video) communication enabling us to connect immediately. As it's a video doorbell that can record & transmit video, audio & still images we are disclosing this in our listings.
