Located just 6 minutes walk from downtown Ubud, the Nest is a great option for families seeking a peaceful and accessible holiday experience. The pool is a perfect place to cool down after a day of exploring Ubud and surrounding rice fields. For those that need to work, there is fast and reliable internet. The Nest has a cabin-like feel with lots of places to chill out and enjoy the natural surroundings. Our friendly Balinese team work hard to host our guests and ensure a great experience. The Nest Ubud sleeps six comfortably. An ideal space for families. It has three air-conditioned bedrooms and spacious indoor and outdoor lounging areas. It also has a large swimming pool. The kitchen is generously appointed and equipped for home cooking and entertaining. There is a pool villa adjoining the pool, which sleeps two and has an ensuite bathroom. There is also an upstairs bedroom in the main house with a half bathroom. The downstairs bathroon in the main house is accessible through the kitchen and/or second bedroom. It is a full bathroom with big tub and outdoor Balinese-style shower. The villa is nestled up on a hill and is extremely private. Great views of the surrounding jungle especially while chilling in the pool. Perfect for families or a group of friends. Parking is also available on site. We also has a baby cot (crib) for families traveling with infants. Unfortunately sometimes we may have friendly visitors (local rodents) in the main house due to the location being near the bamboo jungle so it may be a inconvenience but we do our best to get rid of the them. The villa facilities are fully accessible to renters. No restrictions. The Nest Team is ready to interact with guests as much as they like. We live in Denpasar, but visit the villa almost every day. Ubud is the cultural heart of Bali and and Jalan Kajeng can be considered the heart of Ubud. Known as “Artist Street’ or ‘Signature Street’, Jalan Kajeng Street is one of the most interesting and original Balinese streets you will find. Located on the north end of town, it runs uphill perpendicular from Jl. Raya Ubud. For people wishing to explore downtown Ubud on foot and at the same time live on a relatively quiet local street, you found it! The Pura Desa (village temple) is located at the bottom of the street and at the top end of the street is the amazing textile gallery ‘Threads of Life’. There are many places to eat on Jl. Kajeng as well as art shops and the Padma Bus office. Rice field treks are also at the doorstep of the Villa. Everything that you possibly want to see is walking distance from the Villa. Downtown Ubud and the local Starbucks is 6 minutes walk in one direction. And in the other direction, within 5 minutes you can be on the well known (and very beautiful) Juwuk Manis rice field area. Quite literally, you never have to get in a car when you stay at the Nest, except maybe to go grocery shopping. We also have a partnership with a local tour company to arrange transport and other optional tour activities. This one of the most well appointed villas in the neighbourhood just six minutes walk to downtown (Starbucks and the Ubud Palace). Baby crib and high chair available on request.
