The suite has full central heating and a log burner if you'd like the ambience of a log fire.. we leave you a starter pack of logs & kindling for your 1st evening fire :) Suites 5 & 6 can be interconnecting The space Ty Gwair 6 offers an open, light-filled space that connects the indoors with the outdoors. Large patio windows offer a panoramic views of the surrounding Eryri Mountains. Stay on an organic working farm with super friendly animals and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. * New for 2025 - Dog play field exclusively for our guests and enclosed garden area directly outside the suite. We are perfectly located in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park between the mountains and the sea and an excellent base to explore North Wales. We are only 15 minutes drive from many local attractions : e.g. Zip World Titan,, Portmeirion Italianate village, Ffestiniog Railway, Coed y Brenin Forest Park for walks and biking (hire bikes available there) plus numerous mountain walks, lakes & waterfalls, Many sandy beaches only 20 minutes away, Black Rocks sands, Borth y Gest, Harlech & Llandanwg. YR WYDDFA (SNOWDON) - 40 minutes scenic drive. Looking for accommodation, dog friendly cottages or hotels, in Eryri (Snowdonia); look no further, Tyddyn Du Farm is the perfect destination for your holiday with a difference. Guest access The farm is accessible for walks & a Roman site 1/2 mile away with wonderful panoramic views & makes for a longer walk (or run uphill !) from the farm Secure fenced dog play field on the farm The farm has a short walk through the field to our small secret Bluebell woodland with oak tree swing & oak block seating - see photo's Two viewpoints on the farm with wonderful Mountain sunsets or for meditating Very friendly sheep, pygmy goats, Tedi the Alpaca, Shetland ponies and chickens & ducks. Other things to note Haybarns 5 & 6 We do apologise, at present, we are unable to accept bookings for babies or infants in these Suites as they are not completely soundproof and any evening or night time crying would disturb the guests in the interconnected suite (working on the soundproofing) ELECTRIC CARS Unfortunately, at present we do not have Electric Car charging points on the farm.. Tesco in Porthmadog, Y Stablau parking in Betws y Coed & many more have. If you have the facilities to charge from the room, please let us know so you can arrange the payments accordingly.
