Guest can enjoy our 360 degree rooftop with mountains' view on clear days and rooftop of our traditional heritage neighborhood as well as our garden. While Kathmandu Durbar square and surrounding is very touristics and packed with guest houses, Patan remains authentic and peaceful. Our neighborhood has wonderful attractions that should not be missed: Durbar square, golden temple, Patan museum, jyapu museum and much more. From Patan, it is very easy to access other attraction of the valley : Bhaktapur is at 35 minutes taxi, Kathmandu Durbar sqaure at 20 minutes, Pashupatinath at 25 minutes, Boudhanath at 35 minutes in average... Of course in the Kathmandu valley, it all depends on traffic jam! Timila is perfect to explore Patan by foot as it is located just 3 minutes walk from Museum and durbar square where you can easily grab a taxi to go anywherelse in the valley. To find us, from Patan Durbar square, take swotha road and turn right at Narayan temple into Tumbahal road, walk 25 meters: Here we are! Our family lives in Old Patan for many generations. After 2015' s earthquake, we decided to build a new and safe home for our family and our guests. Our vey rich Newar culture means a lot to us so we decided to build our place in keeping with traditional Newar architecture. We called our place Timila which means "bright moon" in Newar as our roof top is ideal to observe the sky at night!
