Timila's apartment is perfect for families or friends (up to 4 persons) willing to explore old heritage city of Patan in Kathmandu valley in comfortable and private settings. This apartment of 720 sq ft is composed of 2 bedrooms (1 queen size bedroom and 1 twin bedroom), a living space with equipped kitchen (fridge, microwave/oven, coffee, tea pot etc), TV & wifi. It has direct access on a sunny semi private terrace as well as access to common rooftop & garden. Ideal for short or mid-term stay! The space In the heart of heritage area of Old Patan, just 3 minutes walk to Durbar square and museum, Timila Newa comfort home offers a perfect alliance between comfort and Newari traditions. Our limited number of rooms allows a calm and relaxing environment. Our guest can enjoy our garden and mountains and temples' view from our 360% roof top. It is the perfect place to explore our Newar living heritage as well as Kathmandu valley main attractions: average of 20 minutes to Kathmandu Durbar square, 25 minutes to airport and Pashupatinath temple, 30 minutes taxi drive to Boudhanath. Guest access Guest can enjoy our 360 degree rooftop with mountains' view on clear days and rooftop of our traditional heritage neighborhood as well as our garden. Other things to note Our family lives in Old Patan for many generations. After 2015' s earthquake, we decided to build a new and safe home for our family and our guests. Our vey rich Newar culture means a lot to us so we decided to build our place in keeping with traditional Newar architecture. We called our place Timila which means "bright moon" in Newar as our roof top is ideal to observe the sky at night!
