Description

The Linen Press Studio is located in the wonderfully quiet village of Boltby in the North York Moors National Park. The beautiful self-contained studio, has a king sized bed within a large open plan sitting room, and dining area. It has a cosy log burner, a separate well equipped kitchen and separate modern bathroom. Outside the studio is a bistro table and chairs where you can relax. You will also have access to a private enclosed garden with a large BBQ kitchen and other seating areas. The space The Linen Press Studio has a private entrance which leads into a large living/sleeping area, completed with a king size bed ( with a Simba hybrid mattress). A baby or small child under 2 can be accommodated on request. Dogs are also very welcome, please just ask first. There is also a dining area, in addition to a cosy seating space with a large log burner and traditional wooden beams perfect for relaxing in the evening. Guests also have available free wifi and a wall mounted smart TV. Continuing from the large living space there is a good sized wardrobe leading to a modern bathroom with below sink storage and large walk-in shower. The well equipped kitchen comes with a fridge/ freezer, oven, microwave, ceramic hob and a large range of utensils and cooking equipment provided (including a raclette). Basic cooking ingredients such as milk, bread, butter etc, are also provided. There is a washing machine in the kitchen for guest use and a tumble dryer is located in the boot room adjacent to the studio. Outside the studio is a shared gravelled courtyard with bistro table and chairs. Guests also have use of our enclosed garden with chimenea and roofed BBQ kitchen (which produces fantastic BBQ’s and pizzas). During warmer seasons guests will also have availability to pick homegrown organic vegetables and herbs from the nearby vegetable patch and herb garden. The garden has 2 seating areas and 2 steamer chairs. Please note that our cat will also have access to the garden, so you maybe lucky enough to see a rare sighting of Walter the grey and white cat. The studio is on one level, but has two steps leading into the building and the driveway area is gravel and cobble stone. Your hosts live adjacent to the studio and therefore are on hand should you have any questions or require advice or directions. We will be happy to drop off walkers the next day to the Cleveland way. Points of Interest: Rievaulx Abbey and Terrace, Boltby pony trekking, Cleveland Way, the property is within a designated Dark Sky area. Large range of walking and outdoor activities form the doorstep of the property including mapped walks from the studio. Pony trekking within the village . Near Thirsk with the Herriot Centre, Sutton Bank Visitor Centre and the picturesque town of Helmsley. Historic city of York 25 miles, spa town of Harrogate 30 miles and coastal towns of Whitby and Scarborough 45 miles. Black Swan at Olstead (Michelin Star/Green Star) nearby; The Hare at Scawton (Michelin Plate) 7.2 miles; Star Inn at Harome (Michelin Star) 12.6 miles. Guest access You will have access to the adjacent boot room, with area for hanging outdoor coats and boots. Turn left form your door and down the path , you can enter your garden with BBQ and seating areas with a lockable gate. The front gravelled area is common access with your neighbours.
