A Night in Walkabout Wildlife Sanctuary: Cabin 5

A night in the bush with the animals. Yes, you are allowed to explore after dark. Your cabin is actually in the sanctuary with the animals Unlike "zoo snooze" and other animal facility experiences, you are not confined to an "accommodation precinct" after dark. Bring a flashlight and hang out with the night creatures. The space Note your cabin is one open-plan room only. All guests sleep in the same room. Beds include 1 queen bed and 1 double pull-out sofa-bed. Your cabin has an ensuite shower and toilet. Please keep this in mind when you are booking with friends. We don't recommend more than 2 adults sharing, whereas the space works well for a family with two young children. Also, you will be staying in the Australian bush so supervising young children (for their safety and the happiness of the animals) is imperative. Guest access Gates are locked from 5pm to 8am, with only emergency entry/exit at night. You have full access to the wildlife sanctuary all day and overnight, from 10am on your check-in day (even though you may only access your cabin after 3pm) until 5pm on your check-out day (even though check-out is by 10am). Please follow all the rangers' instructions as you do share the space with the wildlife that lives in the sanctuary. Yes you can explore the sanctuary after dark. We do require guests to stay on the tracks and to have a flashlight and mobile phone with them. Always have a buddy with you - this is the Australian bush and is not completely risk free. We will give you a safety briefing when you arrive, to keep you and the animals safe. Other things to note You will be staying over with the animals. We will give you information on how to interact safely with kangaroos and the other free-ranging animals, and how to make sure they enjoy meeting you just as much as you enjoy meeting them.
