2 bedrooms apartment in the center of Budapest for 4 guests The apartment is two level-internal. The total area is 60 square meters on two floors. The entrance, the living room, the kitchen and bathroom are on the ground floor. There is a large bedroom and a smaller bedroom on the upstairs These rooms have a common door so the two rooms open from each other There is stairs in the apartment The stairs to the first floor is a bit steep. For drunk, mobility impaired and elderly are not recommended! The space There is a law that I need to scan all guest's travel documents (EU ID or non EU passport). If this causes a problem for you please DON'T BOOK. (although this law applies to all accomodations not just me :) The apartment is on the ground floor. It has 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen and bathroom. Laundry 280 meters Freedom square 350 meters WestEnd (Plaza,Mall) and West railway station 450 meters Basilica 650 meters Chain Bridge 700 meters Parlament 650 meters Bus 10 meters Metro 550 meters Mark said (my satisfied Guest): "Just in case you are the sort not to read full reviews let me sum up our experience in one sentence: Modern, safe and clean apartment situated close to the city's attractions and public transport, hosted by one of the best hosts Budapest has to offer! But now a fuller review... Put simply, Gábor is a fantastic host! He makes you feel welcome before you've even set foot in his apartment!! From the point that you book he wants to make sure that your stay is comfortable and that you experience all that Budapest has to offer (it is truly an amazing city - the pearl of central and eastern Europe!). He is also very quick to solve problems. We misread the wifi password left for us and contacted Gábor as we left for dinner on the first night. By the time we'd had our dinner and a few drinks he had responded and solved the issue! First rate customer service which we knew to expect from other reviewers. A few words about his apartment: The apartment is well furnished and well kept. Even though his apartment is very popular (I believe there were bookings immediately before and after us) it is immaculately clean upon arrival. It was such a relief to be able to lay our heads on comfortable beds after long days travelling all around the city. The apartment is also very secure with codes required to access the main courtyard and the property itself. We enjoyed having a TV in the apartment so that we could watch the snooker late at night (us Brits take this gentleman's game very seriously indeed!). Gábor provides you with bed linens, towels and other sundries to make your stay comfortable. Finally, some words about where the apartment is situated. You find yourself within walking distance of three metro stations - two on the blue line and one on the red line which goes across the river. Although, you won't want to take the metro across the river or you'll miss the beautiful chain bridge which spans the Danube but just in case! We purchased two 72h travel cards at the airport (valid on metro, trams, buses etc) for about £10 each and because of our proximity to the trams and metro stations were able to make full use of them. You are also within walking distance of many important landmarks in Budapest. The Basilica, parliament and the chain bridge are all within a leisurely stroll from the apartment and are absolutely not to be missed! The neighbourhood itself is pleasant with some cafes, restaurants and bars in close proximity. But it is worth the stroll down to the restaurants in and around the Basilica. I hope anyone thinking about staying is planning on at least 3 nights - there's just so much to see!" Guest access The apartment is completely private only you use. With others you don't need to share anything. There is a private bathroom with toilet, and kitchen and rooms. Free Wireless Internet washing machine television 2 double beds for 4 people Other things to note There isn't air conditioning, (Not allowed, because monument building) but usually it's not necessary, because if it is really hot, it takes only a few days. The apartment's walls are very thick and therefore cool in summer and warm in winter. Registration number EG19003633
