Comfy sauna cabin in calm area

This is a unique opportunity to experience the Finnish way of living. Our sauna building was originally built in the 50’s, but has been fully renovated in 2014, most of it by Seppo himself. The space This is a unique opportunity to experience the Finnish way of living. Our sauna building was originally built in the 50's, but has been fully renovated in 2014, mostly by Seppo himself. We wanted to preserve the genuine feeling of the era the sauna was built, and have used recycled and authentic materials. The sauna works with proper firewood, not with electricity, and we would be happy to show you how to light a proper Finnish “löyly". Apart from the great atmosphere, one of the benefits of a real firewood sauna is that the heat of the löyly is more tolerable by being softer and more humid, making it an ideal experience for guests who are not used to going to the sauna. The house has everything you need, including basic kitchen appliances (coffee maker, electronic stove, toaster, cutlery etc.) and we also provide towels and bedsheets. Guest access This private sauna building is ideal for maximum of 2 guests at a time (or 2 adults + 1 child). It comes with a fully furnished bedroom (including a sofa bed with a mattress, kitchenette, small mudroom and an authentic (non-electric) sauna with a warm-water shower and toilet. This cute room also has a small fireplace (not usually needed since the building also has electric radiators). The kitchenette has a hotplate, a microwave, a fridge and is fully equipped with cutlery, plates, mugs etc. If you wish to do some laundry, you may use our washing machine for an extra fee of 3€/load. We provide laundry detergents for your convenience. If you're staying for a longer period of time, we offer you one free wash load per week. Ask for more information! :) In addition to the kitchenette, there is a kitchen table and chairs in the room. For entertainment, there is a flat screen tv in the room and you are of course welcome to use our WiFi connection during your stay. There is a small patio right outside the building, and you are also welcome to use the larger patio which belongs to the main house. Barbecuing is possible on the larger patio until late autumn. Other things to note There is free parking space available on our yard. 2 persons + 1 child fits in the sauna building quite comfortably.
