Escape to a romantic secluded chalet for 2, hidden in the forest above Benabbio. Wake up surrounded by nature, relax in the bedroom Jacuzzi-style whirlpool bath, enjoy quiet evenings outside with BBQ and views, and discover the local products of our small family agriturismo. A peaceful Tuscan hideaway for couples who want privacy, silence and something more authentic. The space Tuscany Forest Chalet is a small romantic retreat hidden in the oak and chestnut woods above Benabbio, ideal for couples looking for privacy, silence and a slower side of Tuscany. The chalet is independent and surrounded by nature, with beautiful views, a private outdoor area, a fenced garden and a BBQ for quiet breakfasts, relaxed dinners and evenings under the stars. It is secluded and peaceful, but still close enough to walk to the historic village of Benabbio, with local restaurants and small village services. Inside, the chalet combines rustic Tuscan character with simple comfort. On the ground floor there is a cosy living area with kitchen, while upstairs you will find the bedroom, a recent comfortable mattress, the bathroom and a Jacuzzi-style whirlpool bath in the bedroom, one of the most special features of the house. The chalet is part of our small family agriturismo, La Terrazza degli Olivi. Depending on the season, guests can discover our local products such as honey, olive oil, homemade preserves and fruit, or ask about simple experiences connected to local life, food and the surrounding countryside. This is not just a place to sleep, but a place to slow down: wake up in the forest, enjoy the quiet, cook outside, listen to the sounds of nature and experience a more authentic and personal side of Tuscany. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the entire chalet and its private outdoor area, including the fenced garden, patio and BBQ. Self check-in is simple and independent. Guests collect easly the key in Benabbio, at our family agriturismo, and then continue to the chalet following the arrival instructions. The chalet is reached by an unpaved forest road. This is part of its secluded charm, but to make arrival easier and to avoid any risk of damaging guests’ own cars, we provide a small Panda 4x4 with manual transmission. We strongly recommend using it for the final access to the chalet. The Panda can be used freely during the stay, especially for arrival, departure and short local trips such as Benabbio, Bagni di Lucca or nearby villages. It is not intended for long-distance travel around Tuscany. Other things to note Tuscany Forest Chalet is ideal for couples who enjoy nature, privacy and a more secluded setting. The chalet is reached by an unpaved forest road, which is part of its unique charm and peaceful atmosphere. When possible, I am also happy to help guests with access using my Panda 4x4. This home is best suited to guests looking for a romantic and authentic stay rather than a standard town location.
