Bright & spacious 1 bedroom, 1 bath apartment w/ a Queen bed in the bedroom and a Full size pull out bed in the living room. Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck w/ a territorial view. Wonderful location minutes to downtown Seattle, Woodlawn Park Zoo, U of W, Lake Union, Ballard, Fremont, I-5 & Hwy 99. Walk to shopping, dining & coffee shops. Full disclosure: Building built in 1960's - building does not have new technology of sound proofing, but the neighbor's are nice & fairly quiet The space You will have your own entrance to the unit and a private deck that has a territorial view (colorful in the Fall), great way to enjoy the morning sun with morning coffee. In the evening the deck is shaded, great way to unwind an cool off during the summer. Laundry available in a common area below the unit, coin operated $1.75 per load for washer and $1.75 per load dryer. Laundry detergent, bleach and fabric softener provided - Marked #101 on the containers. The building was built in the 1960's - it has old technology of sound proofing, the neighbors are fairly quiet however, some muffled noise from the friendly neighbors can be heard. Guest access There is a dedicated parking spot. Access to the unit front door is just up the stairs from the parking spot. The building is nested in a residential neighborhood and walkable to grocery, dining, and shopping. A few neighborhood sights to see are: - Archie McPhee, an artsy shop filled with quirky, fun unique novelty items, gifts and souvenirs. Walkable - go to 45th Ave N and head East. - The Troll Under The Bridge, is an iconic sculpture under the Aurora Bridge, just a quick 3 minute drive. - Gas Works Park, an old oil refinery converted to an awesome park. The best skyline views of Seattle and Lake Union. Concerts in the Summer, Duck Dodge (informal sale boat races), Great playground for kids of all ages, Kite Flying on a windy day, Watch the sun set on downtown Seattle. - Rent a Kayak, Donut or a Motor Boat to cruise and chill on the lake. - South Lake Union has, the Wooden Boat Center. - Rent a classic wooden sail boat or rowboat (rowboat, call for a free 1-hour rental). - If you like History, you will enjoy The Museum of History & Industry’s (MOHAI) permanent exhibit, True Northwest: The Seattle Journey, traverses through the real Seattle story.
