Come and enjoy a fun filled holiday at our family home, set in 3 acres of countryside, a short distance from picturesque villages and historic towns. Entertain family and friends in our large kitchen/diner, head out through the French doors to watch a splendid sunset, or curl up and watch a blockbuster movie in our cinema room. Enjoy the hot tub bathed in moonlight and fairy lights. Or a sauna and cold shower. Collect fresh eggs each morning, stroke the sheep and enjoy the tranquillity . The space Orchard Barn is close to Bradford on Avon, Frome, Bath, Bristol, Salisbury, Glastonbury and Stonehenge. The house is a converted barn, set back from the road down a chestnut tree lined drive, with a spacious, front graveled area for parking for 4/5 cars. This front garden catches the daytime sun and is a perfect spot to have a cup of coffee and read the papers. The property has a cinema room at one end, and a sitting room at the other, with a separate stairway up to the childrens bedrooms, creating a great opportunity for putting children to bed and relaxing close by with a book, whilst others can watch a movie on the other side of the house. The kitchen/diner has a dining table for 14 (extended) and a cosy woodburning stove. Bifold doors lead from here out onto the patio and garden. There is also a cloakroom for shoes and coats and a toilet Upstairs are 6 generous sized bedroom, one en-suite and two additional bathrooms. Outside is a large garden area with outside seating, fire wok, table tennis and trampoline leading to a secluded deck area with sauna, cold shower and hot tub. Through a gate there is the orchard, leading onto a paddock. We have chickens, ducks, bees, pigs (seasonal) and a flock of Ryeland sheep. You are welcome to feed the animals yourself, and hunt for eggs, or we will arrange someone to do this if you would prefer. Its a lovely large space for family and friends. You can picnic in the paddock, play games or pick fruit from the trees or hedgerows(seasonal). Guest access You will have access to the whole house and garden, sauna, hot tub, orchard and paddock, the only areas locked are the garage and garden shed. Some cupboards will be marked private. Other things to note If you are looking for a large comfortable family home with plenty of space in-doors and out, which you can enjoy with family and friends , Orchard Barn is the place for you. There is a wonderful artisan market in Frome, 'The Frome Independent' on the first Sunday of every month - well worth a visit. The Christmas market in Bath end of November/December is very popular, you can spend hours wandering around the lovely stalls.
