City Studio, Old Town, 3min to Bern station

Sunny, small 1-room studio (about 35m2) for up to 8 persons in a historic building right in the heart of the Bernese Old Town. 3 minutes walk to Bern main train station, 2 minutes to the Swiss parliament building and the most important sights, 1 minute to shops, various restaurants and the entire Bernese nightlife.. and at the same time only 5 minutes down to the river Aare or to Bern's Botanical Garden. The space YOUR STUDIO * Sleeping & Living: The sunny studio has two 140cm double loft beds, two single sofa beds as well as a daybed that may transform into a max. 160cm queen-sized bed, a large dining table, and a 60inch UHD TV. Moreover, the room has a private kitchen, and a private bathroom. Using the curtains, you may darken the room somewhat. THE APARTMENT * super-central location in the heart of the beautiful Bernese Old Town (“She is the most beautiful we have ever seen", Johann Wolfgang von Goethe wrote about Bern in a letter to his girlfriend) * the apartment is on the 1st floor of a beautiful historic building. It has wood parquet flooring with underfloor heating. Besides the small kitchen right in the main room (stove/oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher) the studio has a private bathroom. * WiFi, coffee and tea are included in the price of the room Guest access The entrance to the studio is located at the end of the common hallway of the apartment. That hallway may be used as a luggage storage by other guests. The studio itself is separated from that hallway by a lockable door (key in the lock upon arrival), so you have the entire studio for yourself. Other things to note The studio is located in the most lively part of the Old Town with many bars and restaurants (including a Kebab restaurant in the building). The noises and smells of city life, restaurants, and bars might be a disturbance, and it may get hot in the summer, despite 2 fans. As a result of the heritage-protected stairwell from the 16th century, there is no elevator in the building. Note, however, that the apartment is on the 1st floor. When you book this place for a group of more than 4 persons, the studio will get a bit crowded.
