Guests enjoy a separate side entrance for added privacy and convenience. The flat includes a private bedroom, a separate bathroom, and a spacious living area featuring a modern sofa bed that comfortably sleeps up to two guests. Fresh linen, pillows, and blankets are provided. Please note that the sofa bed is located in the shared living space, making it ideal for additional guests or short stays. The fully equipped kitchen includes all the essentials for preparing meals during your stay. The granny flat is entirely private, and while we’re happy to assist or meet you during your stay, your privacy is fully respected. Our family resides in the adjoining main house, which is connected by a securely locked internal door that remains closed at all times. A bus stop is less than a two-minute walk away, offering hourly service to Cairns CBD. However, for greater flexibility and to fully explore the region’s natural attractions, we recommend hiring a car. Additional bedding options, including air mattress or portacot, are available upon request at no extra cost. Guest access The granny flat features a private entrance for your exclusive use. A secure key lockbox is located on-site, and detailed check-in instructions will be provided prior to your arrival. Please note that we have a friendly dog named Scout (Kelpie x Husky), who is securely contained behind a locked glass fence and does not have access to the granny flat. To ensure this separation is maintained, we kindly ask that the side door remains closed at all times. Other things to note The living room includes a sofa bed that comfortably sleeps up to two guests. Fresh linen, pillows, and blankets are provided.
