The villa is beautifully set in a private walled compound surrounded by a tropical garden with a large swimming pool and 2 giant Baobab trees. The space Zarafa House offers 4 comfortable spacious rooms with en-suite bathrooms, which are decorated with typical details from the Kenyan coastal region. Our normal set-up is 2 double rooms, 1 triple room and 1 twin room. The twin beds can be joined together if more double beds are required. Each room is unique and has its own veranda overlooking the beautiful garden and large swimming pool. The bedrooms are equipped with a ceiling fan, mosquito net, safety box, EU & UK power extension as well as coffee & tea making facilities. Fresh bed linen is provided every 2 or 3 days depending on the length of your stay. All bedrooms have air-conditioning (at an extra charge). The private bathrooms are equipped with a hot water shower, sink and toilet. Towels, hair dryer and organic toiletries are provided. Other things to note We are not self-catering!! Our “Personal Chef Service” comes at a flat rate of $20/day for 3 meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Alternatively, you can choose the more flexible option to "Pay Per Meal" and have only certain meals prepared by our chef. We charge $10/meal for this chef service. The above does NOT include the food / ingredients' cost. It includes: shopping, cooking, clean up and keeping the accounts. Please note that we are not a restaurant and can't cater for individual meal choices. If you come up with an extensive menu, we might need to bring in more help in the kitchen, meaning your cost will increase.
