Cosy double room 20 minutes south of Pau

Secret Pyrenees is a boutique chambre d'hotes in the foothills of the French Pyrenees. A renovated 18th century farmhouse with 4 hectares of parkland, a beautiful garden and a large swimming pool - it's the sort of place where you'll want to linger a while. We're ideally situated, only 20kms from Pau, yet also a 25 minute drive to the mountains, with access to epic cycling routes, trail running, kayaking, climbing, mountain biking and every other form of adventure you can think of! The space Formerly known as Maison Rancesamy, the house is a lovingly renovated 18th century Béarnaise farmhouse set in the Jurancon wine region. We have 3 bedrooms on offer, in a self contained annex of the house, complete with a snug and al fresco dining area. The bedroom you have chosen is the Chambre d'Ossau - named after the Vallée d'Ossau which is less than 20 minutes away. All of our rooms have recently been redecorated and are equipped with white fluffy bath towels, a Nespresso coffee machine with assorted capsules and tea bags, a hairdryer, a flatscreen LCD TV and a lovely view of the garden and the distant hills of the Jurancon. Guest access You're welcome to walk around our beautiful and lush garden, as well as make use of the 12x6m swimming pool. During your stay As avid sports enthusiasts, we're keen to share our knowledge of where to run, cycle, swim, kayak or hike in the Pyrenees. Both Zayne and Tobias are avid trail runners and cyclists. Moreover, Tobias is one of the UK's leading adventure journalists and athletes considers it his job to find beautiful places to run and cycle. We're hear to share our knowledge. Other things to note This is a double room on the first floor and therefore not be suited for toddlers, as there is no stair gate. We have a room next door and another on the ground floor.
