Cecil Street B&B is located in a beautiful character home at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac minutes from Manly Beach and wharf. Enter through your own private garden and enjoy relaxing in this peaceful, gracious home . Provisions for a light breakfast are provided. Accommodation includes 2 spacious, light filled bedrooms, bathroom, breakfast/sitting room, front verandah and garden. Free parking in the street is readily available. Sleeps 4 guests. The space Welcome! My home is located at the end of a quiet, tree lined cul- de- sac. The master bedroom has a new luxury king size bed that sits underneath a beautiful stained glass porthole window. An original fire place and other period furniture complement this lovely room that looks out onto the front garden. Bedroom two features a double bed and a single bed can be set up if required. This room also has a leafy outlook. Both rooms have ample storage including wardrobes and antique chests of drawers. There are ceiling fans and heaters in the rooms. The breakfast/sitting room is well equipped with a bar fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, crockery and cutlery. Although there is no cook top or sink, it is possible to prepare light meals. There is also a TV and DVD player along with a selection of books, both adult and children's, games and information on local attractions. There is seating for four guests and a sofa to relax on. A port a cot and high chair are available free of charge. The bathroom has been recently renovated in federation style and features a shower over the bath, heat lamp and fan, heated towel rail and luxury toiletries. Bathrobes and hair dryer are provided. Iron and ironing board available. All linen is provided including beach towels. Free parking is readily available in the street. Provisions for a light breakfast are provided. These should last you for the first couple of days. Washer and dryer are available for a small cost. About me. Although I am new to airbnb, I have been welcoming guests from around the world since 2000. I especially love meeting people and welcoming them into my home. I have lived in the area for forty years and have a wealth of local knowledge which I am more than happy to share with you. I live in my section of the house with my own private entrance. I am here to help you feel right at home but also leave you to your own devices if you prefer. Getting Around Cecil Street is very close to public transport. Buses are a 2 minute walk away. The buses service Manly, Sydney CBD, Northern beaches, Chatswood and beyond. The famous Manly ferry to Sydney CBD is a 10 to 15 minute walk away and runs every 30 minutes. Close by there is a local Fairlight shopping strip featuring cafes, a small supermarket, Chinese restaurant, bottle shop, laundromat, chemist and doctor's surgery. There are several large supermarkets in Manly, along with a wide selection of cafes, bars, restaurants. There are also local markets and a host of boutiques and shops. Guest access Guests have access to all amenities in the B&B section of the house. Linda, the host, occupies the upstairs and back section of the home. Guests have their own private entrance and access to the front yard. There is also a key safe on the front porch which can be used to gain access to the property if I am not present.
