Bed and breakfast in Watersmeet

FOREST GARDENS GETAWAY is a small Bed & Breakfast located on the western side of the UP on the edge of the Ottawa National Forest. We are located 2 miles from Land O Lakes, WI and 6 miles from Watersmeet, MI & are surrounded on all sides by nature! We start your day off with a large breakfast. You can end it in the large screened porch by the lake, watching the many kinds of wildlife and enjoying the quiet of nature. Come to relax in the beautiful Northwoods and let us spoil you! The space This large room has a queen size bed. There is also a TV and small refrigerator. Your large private bathroom is located immediately outside the bedroom door. Robes are provided. No smoking on premises Guest access Forest Gardens Getaway sits on 22 acres surrounded by the Ottawa National Forest. We have walking trails all around the property for your use. During the summer months, you’re welcome to use our kayaks, canoe, and paddle board. All of our guests are encouraged to relax in our living room. There’s always a fire in the fireplace on the cold, snowy evenings. In the summer, enjoy the large screened-in octagon porch or sit out on the deck. Both overlook Twist Lake with all of the different species of waterfowl. There are three beaver houses on the lake so you’ll see them busy at work! The otters often play in the lake and it’s not at all uncommon to see all kinds of wildlife like fox, deer, bear, etc. It’s a nature-lover’s paradise! During your stay We enjoy getting to know our guests and are always available for drinks and conversation. However, we also respect your privacy. You can just let us know if you would like to visit.
