Located in a quiet street, Bowen Cottage is a lovely renovated home dating back to the 1890s. The property features two private courtyards and two generously sized bedrooms (configurable for couples or individuals) with built in robes. There's a light-filled open lounge and dining area. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine and there's a dryer in the garden shed. The bathroom is light, airy and well ventilated. The property can be set up for guests with young children. The space Bowen Cottage features a mix of period elegance and contemporary style. This terrace offers guests a home away from home in the very heart of Richmond. Beyond the private front courtyard and gorgeous facade, the inviting interior boasts two large bedrooms (both with robes). Comfortable beds, a selection of pillows and extra blankets are supplied to ensure a good night's sleep. The beds can be configured for couples or individuals depending on your requirements (see listing photos for examples). By default, I set up the front room for a couple, and the second room for singles. If you make a booking, please let me know if you'd like the beds configured differently. Bowen Cottage has a contemporary-style central bathroom, light-filled open-design lounge and dining areas, complemented by a well-appointed kitchen with stainless steel cooking appliances and dishwasher. Other highlights include split-system heating and cooling (3 units), high ornate ceilings, laundry facilities, plus an additional private courtyard with established gardens, and an external second toilet at the rear of the property. Guests can enjoy a range of books and DVD's. The smart TV features built-in G00gle Casting or enjoy a free selection of TCL provided content. If you're traveling with little ones, I can supply a high chair, cot, bath, and books/toys. There's also a kids trampoline in the front yard. There is free car parking on Bowen St and a permit is provided for one vehicle. Guest access Guests have full access to all rooms and outdoor spaces on the property. Other things to note Both beds can be separated, making four single beds. By default, the front bedroom is set up for a couple and the second room for two singles. If you require a different configuration please send me a message. Kids books and toys, a portable cot with mattress, a high chair and a pusher (foldable small pram) are available upon request. Please bring your baby's bedding. Bin night is Monday. If you are staying on Monday and if any of the bins require emptying, could you please place them out on the street (or if needed, ask me to arrange for them to be taken out to the street for you).
