The Hunter's Shelter

Stone house completely renovated by our family and located in the wonderful village of Pretoro, at the foot of the Majella. Two floors and a large garden entirely available for guests. First floor consists of equipped kitchen and living room with a very comfortable sofa (if necessary, sofa bed, 2 seats). Second floor consisting of the Orso (Bear) room (double), the Cervo (Deer) room (single, 1 full bed & 1/2) and a fully equipped bathroom. CIR 069069CVP005 CIN: IT069069C2Y9RERW8H The space Located in the heart of Pretoro, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy and the flagship of the Majella mountain community, the Rifugio del Cacciatore is the perfect strategic solution for accessing the Passo Lanciano ski resorts or learning about the many excursions available in the area, regardless of the current season. Taken over by my family in 2001, the shelter was a dilapidated stone house, abandoned for some time. The village of Pretoro has the incredible advantage of being close to EVERYTHING that might interest you about Abruzzo, namely the sea, mountains and cuisine. You will be less than half an hour from the sea and the famous Trabocchi coast (with an hour you can also reach the wonderful nature reserve of Punta Aderci), about twenty minutes from breathtaking mountain scenery and literally a stone's throw from essential services (market, butcher, bar). There are numerous excellent restaurants in the area, to try arrosticini, a good gentian or other typical Abruzzo products. My parents live in the area and will be available for any questions, help or information. My father, a truffle hunter, is also available for guided tours, discovering the world of truffles or even just for advice. Possibility to enjoy fresh eggs just hatched by our hens. The house has all the essential amenities (towels, bed sheets, blankets, shower gel, shampoo, toilet paper and everything you need for cooking). The large outdoor garden will allow you to dine, barbecue or simply relax outdoors. Pets welcome.
