Les Cathares - family friendly gite with pool

Les Coumayres consists of four unique, newly renovated gites. Les Cathares is at the back of the house with one more gite next to it. In front of the house are two smaller gites. We also have a Glamping site with two unique domes, located a couple of minutes walk. Relax by the heated pool whilst your children play in the pool, play ping pong or have fun in the playground. There is plenty of space for everyone and each gite has their own private terrace with outdoor sofa and dining for six. The space Gite Les Cathares has it's own private terrace with comfy sofa to watch the stars on. There are table and chairs for six people. Inside the rustic gite you'll find a spacious living room overlooking an open plan kitchen and dining area. The main bedroom is at the top of the house with it's own bathroom and private roof terrace where you have incredible views over the valley or the stars at night. A second bedroom has a double and two single beds with a further bathroom. The kitchen has gas hob and electric oven to cook the local produce you buy from the excellent local markets, or if the weather is nice you can use the BBQ on your private terrace. Les Cathares is unique because it also has it's own enormous banquet hall! This is a beautiful and very large room which is normally used by larger groups to spend time together but it's all yours for your holiday. There's also a children's play room, medium sie snooker table and old piano. Les Coumayres is a friendly place and you'll meet like minded people who want to unwind and enjoy the unspoilt rugged nature of the Haut Langeudoc, Children love to be here, making friends easily, playing with the owner's cats, exploring the tracks and the large garden, swimming in the heated pool, playing the the adventure playground and being free to explore and enjoy the beautiful settings. We also have a glamping site with two domes, a couple of minutes walk from the house. In the evening relax with a glass of wine whilst the terrace and house are lit by lighting, giving the house and gardens a magical and calm atmosphere. Or enjoy a family friendly movie night, hosted by the owners and held on the terrace under the stars. Les Coumayres has all you need whether you're wanting a romantic getaway or family friendly holiday. Guest access Les Coumayres is shared with the owners family who live there during holidays. Guests have their own self contained accommodation each with own private entrance, outside furniture and terrace. The north facing terrace for Les Cathares has no mountain / valley views as it is located to the rear of the house. The swimming pool is heated and open in summer. As there are four gites it is likely you will share the pool and terraces with other guests.
