Sunsets and Palm Trees Take your morning coffee out through the French doors and make a relaxed start to the day on the veranda overlooking the backwaters of river Pampa, a place endowed with incredible natural beauty. This is one of three tastefully styled cottages with a private Jaccuzi. The cottage is private with plenty of intimate seating nooks for alfresco evening, the option to dine privately The space The corner river facing cottage has its own private jaccuzi and sitout surrounded by lush tropical garden and bamboo fencing. The room is equipped with modern creature comforts and accented with _retro_ and _eco_ ambience. The bed is super comfy with 8 inch mattress and 400 thread count bed linen. The room has a bohemian eco-chic vibe with earthy fabrics in natural tones; a cacophony of rugs, throws and pillows. The ensuite is partial covered, however the shower is open to sky with tropical plants and a coconut tree or a starry sky overhead depending on the time of day you decide to shower :). Guest access Guests can access most areas on the property barring the main house and the plunge pools if they are not attached to your room. FOOD: Our food is fresh, our produce used is local, our spices are carefully selected and we travel a fair distance to get the freshest seafood and meats. For those not keen to have Kerala food, we will try our best to accommodate non Keralan food options, we will neutralise it but will not to be able to provide non Keralan region specific dishes.  • Breakfast is included. We typically serve South India fare, with some toast & eggs to order.  • Lunch and dinner is excluded in the price. However with a day's notice we offer a fixed menu for vegetarians and non vegetarians. Meal includes 3 main courses, breads and/or boiled rice at Rs 650 per head (for vegetarian) and Rs 850 per head (for non vegetarian) + 5% GST. THE CORNER COTTAGE This is suitable for a couple . What do you get? - 1 cottage - 1 bedroom with a queen size bed, 400 thread count linen, summer duvet and all air conditioned. - 1 mini fridge with essential mixers (these are chargeable and rates published separately) - 1 malabar tiled swing - Art in the rooms and outside have been painstakingly collected from different regions of India. COMMON AREAS Whilst your cottage has an option to 'dine in' in your own garden or there is a fair amount of space around the property, most wander towards the gazebo with its sheer curtains fluttering in the breeze or dine in the _al_fresco_ dining area on the edge of the river. Tip: the fish in the river do enjoy little pieces of left over egg from your plate. My favourite spot happens to be a discarded bench that I have placed on the rivers edge, a great place to sit and stare down river with a cup of tea or choice of poison and a fag (smoking is injurious to health) POWER ( Electricity) The village usually has a good run with power with rare interruptions, on the rare occassion(s) we do have an interruption we have a back generator that will power the air conditioning, lights and fans and your hot water supply. KAYAK RENTAL Kayaks rentals are charged at upto Rs 300 per hour per head.
