The Lake House

The Lake House is part of The ManaSarovar, which is a beautiful home stay located in between a lush palm grove and paddy fields. A small piece of jungle to enjoy with warm hospitality and delicious food. The space The space is a beautiful cottage with attached bathroom right next to the home that your hosts live in. It has a long veranda outside and a cozy bay window in the bedroom overlooking the pond and greenery. Guest access The natural pond behind the home is also accessible to the guests,although diving into the pond is strictly not allowed since the floor is uneven and has rocks. Pond water level might go down during summer. Other things to note *Covid 19* - The government of India has released standard operation procedures (SOPs) governing operation of hotels and other hospitality units. The SOPs aim to minimize all possible physical contacts between the host and the guests and also include other preventive and safety measure to adopt against COVID-19. The safety of our guests are of utmost priority. Please go through our procedures as well as the usual house rules before proceeding to book our homestay. Thank you for complying. *List of specific SOPs to be followed* 1. Details of the guest (travel history, medical condition etc.) along with ID and Self-declaration form will be provided which has to be filled by the guest during their check-in. 2. It’s mandatory to wear masks and sanitize your hands before interacting with the hosts. Guests should undergo thermal screening on arrival. 3. Only asymptomatic guests will be allowed after thermal screening, 4. All guests to be allowed entry only if using appropriate personal protection gears like face cover/masks and gloves, which has to be worn at all times during their stay. 5. Guests who are at higher risk i.e. those who are older, pregnant or those who have underlying medical conditions are advised to avoid traveling. 6.Driver facilities are not available, so please plan your travel accordingly. 7. We request all guests to follow social distance norms while they are at our home. 8. Only room service will be provided. All meals will be delivered to your cottage. It would be ideal if you could let us know if lunch and dinner is required in advance. 9. Access to the main house will be completely restricted as senior citizens reside. 10. Room will be sterilized before guests arrive and thereafter guest check-out; no intermediate cleaning will be conducted. Extra pair of bed sheets and supplies will be placed before the guests arrive. Laundry service is not available. 11.All payments to be made via Google pay or through internet banking. Cash and cards cannot be accepted. The Manasarovar is not a Resort/Hotel. It is a home stay hosted and taken care of by my mom. There's no AC provided in the room.
