A country escape in a seaside village

This beautiful country escape is new to the market and finished to a very high standard. Our newly renovated house (10 minutes walk, or 3 minutes by car, to the villlage) allows you to enjoy all that the Wild Atlantic Way has to offer. Coorlacka is a 2 storey house on an acre. We endeavoured to make this house a home away from home providing you with all the comforts. With neutral décor you cant help but relax in this space. The space The large kitchen has an American style fridge freezer, electric hob and oven, dishwasher and microwave. The dining table sits 6 people with extra seating at the island. The separate utility has a washing machine, dryer and an extra freezer for your convenience. There are magnificent mountain views from the sunroom, the perfect room to relax and take your morning coffee in. A wood burning stove, exposed chimney brick, smart tv and leather sofas give the sitting room a cosy feel for those colder evenings. There is also central heating should you need it. The house can easily cater for 11 guests (4 trundle beds convert into 8 single beds, plus a king and a super king bed) and there's also a sofa bed in one of the bedrooms should you need it. All 4 bedrooms are spacious with en suites, bedroom 2 even has a jacuzzi bath. There are three bedrooms upstairs and one bedroom (super king bed) is located downstairs. The private garden wraps around the house which allows plenty of space for al fresco dining. You will find books, board-games, lego and a PS2 should you wish to avail of them. It is situated less than 1 km from the attractive village of Goleen for shops, pubs and restaurants and less than a 10 minute drive from fine sandy beach at Barley Cove in a Special European Area of Conservation. The picturesque little village of Crookhaven is only 7km and closeby, Mizen Head Visitor Centre is at Ireland's most southerly point. Well known fishing village and sailing centre of Schull (15 km) for a wealth of amenities, watersports, horse riding and ferry trips to Cape Clear and other islands. This family house is perfect for summer getaways and the winter escapes. It is ideal for those who want to explore the locality or for those who just want to relax and enjoy the surrounding views.
