La Grange is a spacious 2 bedroom Gite over 2 floors. Sleeps 4 plus an additional child. Entered through a private south facing garden, with shady gazebo, bbq and outdoor dining. Kitchen/dining area is fully equipped with everything you need including washing machine, dishwasher. The lounge has a beamed ceiling and oak flooring. flat screen TV. French doors open onto terrace. Fibre Wi-Fi Bed linen provided. Guests are asked to provide towels. if flying and short on space let us know. The space The Bruet is a five cottage complex that is set in four acres of beautiful private parkland, surrounded by a further 5 acres of our fields, offering plenty of space to kick a ball, play badminton or boules. Perfect for couples and families. Located in the peaceful village of Yviers with its bar serving food within a 5 minute walk. in the south Charente close the Dordogne. Situated 4 km from the market town of Chalais with its Restaurants, bars, shops and the Monday morning market. Auberterre is officially listed as one of the most beautiful villages in France and is within a 15 minute drive, offering a river beach with children's play areas, fishing, swimming, canoeing and picnic areas. Brossac lake beach is 4km and has a lovely Restaurant and bar, water sports and mountain bike routes suitable for all abilities. The circuit de haute Saintonge is only a 10 minute drive the track François Cevert is one of the most beautiful outdoor trails in France for the practice of karting in all its forms. Also offering speed track days and competitions open to the public. Great location for visits to Cognac, Bordeaux, Angouleme, St Emilion, Brantome, the coast....or just relax. The South Charente is blessed with one of the highest average hours of sun in France. Explore the area on foot, cycle or car amongst the vines, fields, and woodlands of this rural landscape. Guest access Walking and cycling from the Le Bruet is excellent with free mountain bikes available for guests. There is a large fenced 12m x 6m swimming pool (open 28th may- end of September) with lovely views and reclining sun loungers. There is a games area with table tennis, table football, children's pool table, swing, slide, books and board games for children and adults, and toys for toddlers. Other things to note During July and August we only accept 7 or 14 night reservations. Toilet paper is provided for the start of your stay only. we provide bed linen but guests are required to provide their own towels. if you are travelling by plane please let us know and towels can be arranged.
