The island has a café open daily and is located on the water. The bowling club is open Thursday evening, Friday evening, Saturday lunch in summer only and dinner and Sunday lunch. There is a childrens park near the bowling club for the kids!The water taxi can take you to 5 star dining options.The first Friday of every month is open mic night and is very popular with the locals. Dangar island is full of wildlife. Many variety of birds and occasionally dolphins and turtles can be spotted. Enjoy a pleasant stroll around the island and along Bradleys Beach. Just across the water (15 minutes by ferry) from Dangar is Brooklyn. It has lots of nice restaurants and art and crafts shops. Summer Bookings: Enjoy swimming in the your own private beach or visit Bradleys Beach. Lounge on the deck chairs provided and enjoy the view. The 3 fans, one a dyson along with the breeze of the water ensure a pleasant temperature. Winter bookings: The boatshed is well insulated and heating is provided. Beds have electric blankets, extra rugs and throws. Hot Tub is available for guest use. It is located in a private area up the stairs. Generally bookings are for a minimum 2 to 3 night stay. This is on a separate private gated area of the property well away from the main house. It is hard for doggies to escape. None have yet.
