Riverside Eco Roulotte

Warm, natural, zen: handcrafted by Thierry & decorated by Kalhan, our high-comfort wooden eco-‘roulotte’ (gypsy wagon) awaits: timeless, hush, birdsong: this charming rural hideaway is an ideal spot for family holidays, romantic breaks or solitary retreats. A stone’s throw from the river Dordogne, our roulotte nestles below high branches in a quiet corner of our land. Ours is a quaint hamlet overlooking a green valley - embraced by forest & prairy: a tranquil haven for all. The space ECO FRIENDLY CONCEPT The atmosphere is rustic & natural with gentle modern touches. Being a low ecological impact roulotte, the construction, insulation and decoration materials used for the are those sourced of natural origins, and non toxic (some recycled or reclaimed). Branches found in the surrounding woodland have been cleverly intergrated into the interior decorations. Additionally, All bed & bathroom linen are of 100 % organic coton. The Heating is electrically sourced by renewable energies and an aesthetic and practical compost toilet has been integrated into the washroom. Guest access The entire roulotte is for your enjoyement. There is a quiet, semi-private area of garden around the roulotte. Guests are also welcome to enjoy and explore the whole garden. There is a swing hung from a tree, a tree house & slide which our younger guests are welcome to use. Parking is onsite next to the roulotte. Other things to note A note 📝 for families: the small children’s bedroom has two sleeping options: a small bunk bed (1,55m x 72cm) and one standard single bed (190cm x 90cm). For comfort’s sake, please consider these dimensions in relation to the height of your children before confirming your reservation.
