Harmony Lodge(dry toilet/traditional sauna shower)

The ideal place for privacy and relaxation. This rustic forest cabin is most suited to guests accustomed to camping and living without running water. An old, pre-loved cabin located down a 300m forest path can provide well-earned rest for campers/hikers in the summer or the perfect location for northern lights photography in winter. (No running water in winter, only dry toilet. No shower in cabin - shared shower near reception 300m walk). The space Harmony Lodge is a secluded cabin 300 metre walk from reception and the next closest cabin (please note: path can be snowy/muddy and uneven depending on the weather). With the ability to house up to 10 guests, this cabin is perfect for large groups, or families travelling together. Very little light pollution in this area gives you a great opportunity to watch the northern lights dance in the sky during winter. From this waterfront rustic forest cabin, you can also enjoy the sparkling water of the Torne River and the midnight sun during summer. Pets allowed on request. Guest access During your stay at Harmony Lodge, you will have access to the main cabin, the guest rooms in the secondary cabin, and a private sauna in a third. The main cabin consists of one bedroom, plus a sofa bed in the living room, a kitchen, dining area, as well as a dry toilet (please see note section). The secondary cabin has three guest rooms, all with their own entrance. Your private sauna and relax room is in a third building next to the guest rooms. Other things to note Please note: There is no running water. Water will be provided by staff for drinking/cooking/washing. There is no shower in the Harmony Lodge, however a shower room is available for use near reception (300m walk). You can also bathe in the traditional Sami way, in your private sauna. We can assist with getting your luggage to/from the lodge with a snowmobile during winter, or quad bike during summer, so please advise your arrival/departure times. You can also book tours with us! Tours include: snowmobiling, dogsledding, northern lights, ICEHOTEL, Sami village, mine tours, city site-seeing etc. Just ask the staff at Aurora Camp :) Equipment rental available such as: canoe, boat, fishing equipment, mountain bike, snow shoes etc.
