Hafod Boeth with views over the Menai Straits
Description
Firstly and foremost, this is my home and NOT a second home or holiday let. Whilst I will not be present during your visit (usually working away or travelling), it would be appreciated if all guests could treat my home with care. It is a beautiful, solid and detached private residence, over 150 years old and with all modern facilities. Set within its own grounds, a tranquil countryside haven, offering amazing mountain and sea views, all within easy reach of Caernarfon and Bangor. The space A comfortable detached house with kitchen, living room, sitting/dining room, conservatory, three bedrooms (1x king size, 1x double and 2x single beds) and one toilet/bathroom with a large bath and electric shower. The house is homely and welcoming, it sleeps six within the three bedrooms. A sofa bed in the sitting room can accommodate a further two 'temporary' guests. The conservatory is ideal for either dining or relaxing in, taking in the garden, countryside and sea views. The house is double glazed, with oil central heating and features dressed stonework, exposed beams, an inglenook fireplace, two multi-fuel stoves, private gardens and ample off road parking. The outside patio area is ideal for eating 'al fresco' and to unwind, take in the views and fresh air. Guests are welcome to stroll around the garden and orchard. There is a small pond in the garden and so children will need to be supervised. In addition, there are two bee hives in the orchard, which are some distance from the house and these are mild mannered bees. However, both children and pets should supervised, so as not to disturb these busy garden helpers and their home. Please note that Hafod Boeth is down a narrow country lane and so extra wide vehicles may find it difficult to approach. Guest access Door keys will be left for you and guests will have full use of the house and gardens. Other things to note Hafod Boeth is offered on a self-catering basis and bedding/towels are provided. The charging of electric vehicles at the property is STRICTLY prohibited. The property is down a very narrow country lane and it would be prudent not to arrive in the dark due to the absence of street lighting. There are bee hives at the far end of the garden, in the orchard, which is some distance from the house and main garden. Please do not disturb the bees or the hives, and ensure that children and dogs are supervised, especially if they venture into the orchard. Whilst the bees are mild mannered and will not bother garden users, they will react if you are very close to their home or tamper with it. If you do have allergies to bees, please remember to have your medication with you, during your visit. Wifi is available in the property and devices can connect to this, but it is via 'mobile broadband' and so the signal strength does vary from 4G to nothing, depending on time of year/weather etc. Whilst the wifi will cope with email and web browsing, it is not designed for downloading movies or other large files, especially as there is a monthly limit on download data availability. There are security cameras on the outside of the property, to protect & monitor the house whilst it is left unattended.
