Talafon is a modern home, ideally located in a secluded courtyard setting, within a 5 minute walk of the superb, safe sandy beach, excellent pubs, restaurants and shops of Aberdaron village. It offers an ideal base to explore the stunning coastal footpaths, unspoilt white sandy beaches and coves of the idyllic Llyn Peninsular. The space Talafon offers plenty of room to holiday with friends or family. A large kitchen/dining room, very spacious lounge with cosy fireplace, smart TV, and separate TV/games room downstairs provide ample space. The interior is fresh and modern and consists of 3 bedrooms (double, king and twin) with additional double sofa bed and travel cot available. The twin bedroom is accessed from the king bedroom. The two master bedrooms each have a modern ensuite shower room. There is also a large family bathroom with oversized bath. The living area consists of entrance hall, spacious open hallway leading to modern kitchen (including rangemaster double oven) and large dining area. A separate utility room offers laundry facilities (including washing machine). The dual aspect lounge offers views across open countryside and French doors opening out onto the patio area. This room is completed with wall mounted flat screen 42” smart TV, Blue-Ray DVD player and CD/i-pod docking station/sound system. A separate gaming room offers a 32” flat screen LCD smart TV and XBox with numerous games. There is unlimited Wi-Fi throughout the house. Outside, there is a neat lawned garden with patio, stylish rattan dining furniture, BBQ and private driveway for numerous cars/boats. Talafon is centrally heated with an additional coal-effect stove in the lounge. Talafon offers modern, stylish and comfortable accommodation throughout. All bedding is provided, however towels are not provided. Please remember to bring bath and beach towels. A cot and highchair are available for use. Please let me know when you book the property so I can ensure they are ready for your arrival. Aberdaron is an unspoilt, seaside fishing village located on the very tip of the Llyn Peninsular. The safe, mile long, blue flagged sandy beach is perfect for families with children of all ages. Ample car parking and boat launching is available from the newly built National Trust Visitors Centre in the centre of the village. Aberdaron bay is superb for water sports and wildlife enthusiasts. Dolphins and seals are often seen within the bay. The two restaurant/pubs in the village offer family caught fresh seafood on their menus. The village also has other catering options including welsh tea rooms, bakery, fish and chips and freshly made take-away pizzas/Paninis on the beachfront. A well-stocked locally owned Spar also includes a superb butchers counter and post office. Other facilities include newsagents, off-licence, ice-cream shop and gift shops. The Llyn Peninsula is renowned for its mix of rugged coastline, complimented by miles of sandy beaches and coves, including Porth Oer (where the white sands whistle), Porth Iago, Penllech, and Porth Ysgo; all within a few minutes drive. As an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, primarily owned by the National Trust, visitors can enjoy miles of stunning walking along the coastal paths where the views are unrivalled. With the majestic mountains of Snowdonia on your doorstep, the Llyn Peninsular is perfect for a walking holiday. Boat trips are available from Aberdaron to Bardsey Island (Ynys Enlli), a former site of religious pilgrimage and now a National Nature Reserve. Nearby bustling seaside towns include Abersoch, Nefyn and Pwllheli. Golfers are well catered for with Nefyn Golf club (offering two cliff top 18 hole courses set in spectacular coastal scenery), Abersoch Golf Club (18 hole course adjoining the beach) and Llyn Golf Centre (15 bay driving range). There are numerous horse-riding centres within a short drive of Aberdaron. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house and garden. Other things to note We will always try to allow access to the property prior to the 3pm check-in time, but if this is not possible then you are always welcome to leave your car on the drive and spend the day on the beach, walking or enjoying the village.
