The extensive ‘700 building benefits from plenty of sunlight and overlooks a spacious garden with well-established trees and a tennis court. Ideal for families or groups who like to spend their holidays in the countryside. On the ground floor, a large veranda welcomes guests whatever the season. The billiards room has a well-furnished library, and the antique frescoed rooms retain an untarnished charm. The spacious kitchen with its large oval table and cupboards made of walnut wood allow you to enjoy the warmth and authenticity of a home still instilled with the love and enthusiasm of its owners. Anyone who comes to Almenno for the first time inevitably falls in love with the place, and plans a return visit. The slightly severe aspect of an old historic mansion is softened by the very warm, friendly and inviting atmosphere, which makes you feel completely at home. Guest access The bedrooms on the second floor are all roomy and comfortable. They comprise two apartments: The "Cloti” suite is more snug: it has lower ceilings with exposed beams, and consists of 4 bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin, 1 triple room and a small room with a child’s bed), plus a living room, a small kitchen and a bathroom. The "Central" suite offers rooms with higher, frescoed ceilings and consists of 4 bedrooms with twin beds, a kitchen and two bathrooms. The apartments are interconnecting, and possess ‘800 furniture. Minor restoration and conservation work has been completed in order to maintain the charm of this ancient property. Our guests will have free access to the ground floor, to the billiards room, to the library and to the other rooms. They can also enjoy the garden at any time and have barbecue parties with friends and they can use the large kitchen at ground floor completely equipped for big groups and families. -Agreement with La Frasca di San Nicola restaurant/pizzeria for home service -Italian cooking courses + dinner on request by the milanese chef Benedetta Manetti -Dynamic Yoga class in English or Italian WEDDINGS AND OTHER EVENTS Our house is also available for small events, weddings, receptions, corporate events, or other events at prices to be agreed with the owner (up to 20 guests, staying in the villa, no extra cost).
