Charming cottage in Rye Harbour

Light airy seaside cottage with loads of character. There's a double bedroom, a triple bunkbed room, and a double sofabed in the sitting room. It has wooden beams, skylights and a small but modern kitchen. There's a small seaside garden (shingle) with summer house. The space The house has bags of charm, with high ceilings and lots of light. This has been our family holiday home for many years and we often lend it to family and friends. We come to relax here and we hope that you will love the informal atmosphere of the house. We have accumulated plenty of books, toys, games, buckets and spades over the years which you are welcome to enjoy, and while we keep it clean and tidy, it is a well-loved family beach house and not smart and minimalist. At the far end of the garden is a wooden summer house which is not accessible. The garden needs a bit of work but it's a wonderfully peaceful place to sit out in the sun listening to birdsong. The kitchen is small but well equipped, with microwave, washer/dryer and dishwasher, sharp knives. The bathroom has a shower over a mini bath, which adults will tend to use only as somewhere to stand while showering but which is perfect for bathing small children. The house is comfortable for 5, but can squeeze in 7 with use of the sofa bed although be aware that the skylights in the main room mean that the room gets light when the sun comes up. The bunkbeds are best for children or light adults. There is a digital radio and in the main room there is an amplifier into which you can plug whatever device you have with you, through a standard headphone plug (provided). Guest access The whole house is yours, except for the mezzanine where we have stored our stuff.
