Old fisherman's house renovated on 3 levels 150 m from the beach, with terrace and small private garden, located in a small village with shops on the border between the Bay of Somme and the Normandy cliffs. The space The house can accommodate 2 couples and 4 to 5 children in 3 separate bedrooms There are 2 double bedrooms, including a large 40 m2 bedroom with beds that can be separated + 1 children's bedroom with 2 bunk beds). A small alcove on the 1st floor includes a rest/play area. The large bedroom on the 2nd floor has a sink. There is only one bathroom with a large shower. 2 separate toilets The house is on 3 levels of about 40 m2 each: a ground floor and 2 floors. On the ground floor: - a large living room comprising a lounge area (1 sofa, 2 armchairs), a dining area (table for 8 people) and an equipped open kitchen (1 Lacornue cooking piano comprising 4 gas fires, 1 multi-cooking oven, 1 microwave, 1 hood, 1 dishwasher, 1 refrigerator-freezer); - a small laundry room with 1 washing machine and 1 toilet; - the living room opens onto a terrace, which overlooks a small garden with a nice view. On the 1st floor: - 1 bedroom with a Balinese double bed of 140 x 200 cm and a view of the garden and the church; - 1 children's room with 2 bunk beds (190 x 90 on 2 levels) or 4 beds; - 1 alcove with games for children; - 1 bathroom with a large shower (possibility to install a baby bath on the floor) and a sink; - 1 separate WC On the 2nd floor: - a large room of 40 m2 with a double bed of 180 x 190 cm that can be divided into two beds of 90 x 190 cm, as well as a 3rd bed of 90 x 190 cm for use as a sofa or extra bed, including a toilet area with 1 sink, a desk area, and a reading area. We provide: - sheets, pillows and duvets - towels (but not beach towels) - tea towels - cutlery, dishes - kitchen equipment (blender, mixer, pans, pots, casseroles, utensils, Italian coffee maker, etc.) - toiletries and household products only to help out as needed, to be replaced as you go please - household appliances: dishwasher, washing machine, cooking piano with 4 gas hobs, rotating heat oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, Italian coffee maker, iron, hi-fi (living room), portable radio (bathroom), blender, mixer, hood, vacuum cleaner, broom and dustpan - baby equipment: baby bathtub, babybjorn baby bed, children's dishes, highchair, children's chair (living room), many toys, games and books for young children, mobile, night light, rugs in the children's room that can be used by toddlers. This is an old fisherman's house in the village of Ault, in the Baie de Somme Site, on the border between the Normandy cliffs and the bay. We renovated the house in 2014; we value decoration and pretty evocative objects. You will find, however, that some finishes that we consider minor are still to be expected, but we have seriously set aside our DIY fever since the birth of our children! We hope you love this house and the amazing village of Ault as much as we do. --- The house is on 3 floors (around 40 square meters each floor), with a small garden and a wood terrace. It fits 4 adults and 4 to 5 kids in 3 separated bedrooms. One bedroom with a double bed has a sink. It used to be two fishermen's houses, that have been unified. It is a cozy place with a mix of old style and modern decoration, many books, various things and paintings brought back from our trips. Ground floor: - an open living room (1 sofa & 2 chairs) and a dining room with a big dining table (8 place setting, dishes and flatware provided) with an open fitted kitchen (oven, 4 gas plates cooker, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, Italian coffee machine, cooking robots, oil, salt, pepper, spices and herbs if you like to cook!) - 1 WC and a small laundry room with a washing machine 1st floor: - 1 bedroom with an old Javanese wood double bed (140 cm x 200 cm); - 1 bedroom for children (2 bunk beds for 2, for 4 children); - 1 alcove with games - 1 toilet - 1 bathroom with a large shower and a sink 2nd floor: - 1 big bedroom with a double bed (160 cm or 2 X 80 cm), 1 sink, a study area, 1 bed/sofa (90 x 190 cm, 3 chairs We provide: - bed sheets - bath towels (not for the beach) - kitchen towels - kitchen equipment - cutlery, crockery - toiletries and household products to use if necessary, but please replace it progressively Guest access The house has an outdoor terrace with 2 sun loungers, 2 tables and 5 outdoor chairs.
