Emerald Hill Cottage

Emerald Hill Cottage is a comfortable self contained, self catered cottage set in acreage surrounded by fruit trees, vegy patch and gardens. There are free range Guinea fowl and chickens. Set well back from Port Fairy road (200m) and beside hosts, Pete and Bronwyn's main homestead. Pete and Bron are not always on site so you are bound to have some quiet times where you are free to enjoy your surroundings. The space Relax in a comfortable self catered cottage in Hamilton Victoria. Emerald Hill Cottage is situated on a small hobby farm just 3 minutes out of town. Colourful gardens, fruit trees, pasture, sheep and fowls will make for an enjoyable stay. We are just 3 kilometres from the CBD on the Hamilton Port Fairy Road. The property is marked ‘Emerald Hill’. Just follow the gravel drive till the end and just past the main homestead - you are there. Pete and Bron are not always on site but when we are we are happy to say hello or to give you space as you require! Guest access Our guests are welcome to explore our 6 acres, there are native trees, many roses, an orchard, a dam with fresh water yabbies. The sheep will come to check you out, the Guinea fowl will keep you amused with their antics and the chickens will love any bits of food you may not wish to keep. Other things to note Hamilton is a great base to stay while you explore around the region. There are beautiful recreational waterfalls and caves just minutes away. The Grampians are 20 minutes away, Port Fairy with beautiful beaches a 45 minute drive.
