For centuries, trekking has been one of Agerola's main attractions. The trails, suspended between sky and sea, are a popular destination for an increasing number of hikers. In a short time, you can range from the lush paths of the Lattari Mountains to the clear waters of the Amalfi sea. Located in the center of the Lattari Mountains, Agerola is ideal for hiking: from the village you can easily connect with a series of trails that cross the entire mountain range, from Punta Campanella to the Badia di Cava dei Tirreni. Agerola offers diverse landscapes, from deep valleys carved by streams to high rock walls to climb up to 1400m. There are endless chestnut woods, inaccessible medieval hermitages and overhanging views of the sea of the Amalfi coast, with the possibility of reaching the waters near Amalfi, Conca, Furore, Praiano and Positano. The trails are quite easy to follow, but to fully enjoy them (history, anecdotes, crafts, flora, fauna, etc.) we recommend the help of a trail guide, who could also organize a pleasant refreshment stop with tasting of typical products directly on the route of some trails. By clicking on the map, you can access summary information of the various trails and see a brief description of the trails.
